Court records show that the Washington DC Attorney General's office asked the court to allow more time to gather data and conduct testimony because the office was repeatedly obstructed.
The lawsuit has summoned 10 witnesses to testify, but only three have verified payment from the Trump Inauguration Committee for the Loews Madison hotel bill.
